New Zealand actress LUCY LAWLESS is pregnant with her third child.

The former XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS star and husband producer ROB TAPERT are expecting their second child together in April next year.

Lawless, who has just filmed a guest appearance in THE X-FILES, has a daughter DAISY from her first marriage to GARTH LAWLESS, which ended in 1995.

After Lawless and Tapert's 1998 wedding, the actress gave birth to a half-brother for Daisy - JULIUS in October 1999.
