Ainda adolescente, Lucy Lawless começou por integrar o grupo de teatro do colégio que frequentava. Depois ingressou na faculdade e, com os estudos ainda por terminar, decidiu fazer uma viagem pela Europa. Mal sabia ela o que a esperava quando regressasse à Nova Zelândia, sua terra natal... Casou, teve uma filha, Daisy, e transformou-se em Xena, a personagem de uma das mais famosas séries de televisão, Xena: a Princesa Guerreira (que está de regresso à programação da SIC). Pecentemente, Lucy cantou e encantou numa reposição de Grease, em cena na Broadway.
As a teenager Lucy Lawless started by being a part of the theather group in her school. Then she went to college, and before finishing her studies, she decided to take a trip through Europe. Little did she know what awaited her when she returned to New Zealand, her homeland. She got married, had a daughter, Daisy, and became Xena, the character of one of the most famous TV series, Xena: Warrior Princess. Recently Lucy sang in Grease, playing on Broadway.
