The movie starts with a macabre gag: A refrigerator falls out from an Airliner through a defective load and kills the young wife Mary. This terrible death case is so mad, that even the TV newsreader starts to laugh while reading the news. Widower Perry (he searches as a chemist for the color "Siam Sunset") is totally despaired and tries to forget on a group journey through Australia. But he seems to magically attract disaster, until he meets young Grace. She is escaping from her brutal ex-lover, from whom she stole money. Now Perry grows over himself and becomes a cheered hero.
